Vintage inspiration – working what I have in my closet

New fall clothes are at my every turn… Especially working in downtown Boston! But, I keeping chanting the words “your on a budget, your on a budget” in hopes that H & M don’t get the best of me! This week has bee super hard for me (anyone feel me?) so I am trying to get creative with what I already have!

Here are my favorite outfits of the week! Nothing new here… But all purchased from second hand stores!

Favorite girly activity of the week –

Brenna and I met the owners of SENSATIONAIL a month back in Providence Restaurant. These guys were very kind and sent us a free starter kit, along with four nail polishes to get started.  This product allows you do give yourself Shellac Manicures at home. It was easy and I recommend it anyone!

You can find it at your local CVS

Someone was excited 🙂

Here I am… getting my shellac on at home

of course we needed the proper beverage and dessert to accompany our manicures…

I think they look pretty good!

Favorite fall activity of the week –

This past weekend  I was in Western, MA visiting my boyfriends family.  Riding the tractor, stacking wood, carving pumpkins, listening to Halloween music, eating lasagna and laughing a lot were on the list!

The perfect fall scene!

Loved this piece of wood… I see a table in my future.

Tractor Ride!!! Sure, why not 😉

Jeb is a pro at cutting wood… Me… I just make everyone smile for a picture and try not to hurt myself!

Happy Halloween

Favorite work event this week –

Golfing in Portland, CT with Clear Channel Radio!

What a day!

I hope everyone is having as good a week as I am! I am one lucky girl.

Loved, loved, loved this store!  The second I walked in there was warm welcoming from the owner, Megan, who has the most charismatic personality ever!  The shop, as Megan described it is “A mix of your favorite brands, from H & M, Gap, Banana Republic to Anthropologie and Seven.” Boy was she right… every corner you turn there is something new and fabulous to look at.
